The latest recall of 737,000 vehicles from Ford Motor Company is over a part that could develop an oil leak, and a braking issue that could be caused by a software issue. In the case of the brake issue, a driver may have a problem stopping the vehicle when towing. Ford is recalling 345,451, 2020-2022 Ford Escape and 2021-2022 Ford Bronco Sport vehicles with 1.5L engines. An engine fire could potentially be caused by an engine oil separator housing that could crack.

In addition the manufacturer is recalling 391,836 2021-2022 F-150, 2022 Ford Maverick, Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 vehicles. Ford has reported 67 incidents caused by this issue though according to the manufacturer, none has caused accidents or injuries.
