I am having issues with my Transmission. There is a grinding sensation and unable to shift. The car has been down for over 4 months. I finally got it back from the Jeep dealership after paying close to $1000 for a coolant and engine flush. The coolant got into the engine as well as the car stalling due to transmission while arrive at the dealership prior to repair. Jeep wants over $6000 for transmission part not including repair on this 2021 Jeep Compass Latitude
My car is turn off while I was driving on 20 miles. The coolant bottle broke, my car was 1 day in the dealer. and the cost on matenance is being ridiculous.
Mi jeep conpass se tarda en canbia el over drive cuando la estoy corrirndo es.del 2019 y tiene 45.000 millas
My Compact Jeep is being in the shop twice. I Beng having problems with tires, gas, my car turn off on the road while I was driving on 20 miles, now the light ABS is on. I have called for an appointment to bring the card in, they have never told me the car have a recording on ABS.
I’m having a traction control issue and have replaced so many things has anyone had this problem?
Yep mine does that multiple times. This time I have six messages about my safety features need serviced. Once you turn off the vehicle it clears it and the drawer can’t duplicate it do anyone about it. Bright it in multiple times for the auto braking failure, Hill holder failure, drive mode, auto start stop, electronic stability control, traction control light, and lane assists failure
we have had our Jeep in for repairs twice now and still having problems with the shifting you have to press it to the floor as well when you take off or you will be RAN OVER
My 2019 Compass has literally just shut off showing on the tach that coolant was too hot, and them within seconds pops back on. No warning, doesn’t matter the speed, it just goes kaput with a coolant warning and the needle goes back down just as sudden as if nothing has happened, however, I have almost been rear ended and head on collisions many times for not being able to move.
I have a 2022 Jeep Compass. My starter went out after a year of having the car. It was at about 7000 miles. Now part of the trim is coming loose from the doors and back of the car. Also on this car the chrome is starting to rust
My jeep compass limited 2022 has now been in at the dealership shop four times with traction control with road noise and now for the fourth time my screen of my radio is now freezing and going black
I just purchased a 2021 jeep Compass today September 13 2023. I read all the complaints. Should I return this vehicle tomorrow.
Has anyone else having problems with faulty odometer reading.after owning my Jeep trail hawk seems like more milage is recorded then what I am driving
All my warning lights come on although it is still driving ok
My Wife is having problems with her 2021 compass. Is started when she was involved in a minor front end accident. They had to replace the windshield and they werent able to calibrate some of the sensors that are in the front of the vehicle. Now its stalling and the battery is going dead. Golling Chrysler jeep in bloomfield, Mi. are not standing by their original work. They have had her care for almost a week and not one word about it. In the meantime, were renting vehicles so that she can get to work.
Radio screen no longer works , screen controls access to heat / ac.. back up Camera , heated seats / steering wheel etc etc..
Having constant problems with stabilizer links / bushings & sway bar connections… loud sounds from under the car , middle front end area…
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
if the screen no longer works but you still listening to music…you might get ah screen replacement somewhere…my radio had the same and i got the screen and replace it….problem solve
My 19 does the same thing, radio screen shuts off turns back on- randomly. I notice that this happens on extended drives, and when I’m adjusting the volume or station from the button on the rear of the steering wheel. Also having problems with a knocking sound- sway bar links?- gas usage is absurd. I’d be better off driving a full size pick up with as my fuel it uses.
Same
My auto start battery has been changed twice. The screen has blinks in and out. My auto start light continue to blink off and on. The car will literally go into emergency break mode and stop while I’m sitting at a stop sign and I have to put the car in park, cut it off and start it back up. All while sitting at a stop sign. This is ridiculous at this point.
Have 2020 for the last 2yrs only have 35000 miles on it between 20-31 miles ahr or drifting down hill it will make a grabbing or catching noise under in middle or towards the rear doesn’t do all the time dealer keeps saying they don’t here or feel anything
Same Issues with transmission. Since this is a KNOWN issue that hasnt been resolved by Jeep, why should I throw good money at a bad problem that might not get fixed. Is it Jeeps way of selling a cheap car upfront and getting your money later doing repairs? No relef in site so do I just dump it?
my 2022 Compass 8800 miles, new transmission, new battery, back in the shop now with front end noise and ratteling, dealership says theyn dont know yet all of its problems. Im getting rid of it as soon as i get it back
I purchased a 2021 Jeep compass 80th anniversary edition brand new. Since I bought it, BOTH batteries have been replaced, had to have electrical work because there was a short, my ac/heat stopped working properly (it heats and cools but even on full blast it barely blows at all), and now it’s back at the dealership shop…it overheated a little on my way home one day (I was maybe 10 minutes from home). After letting it cool down and getting it home, we popped the hood and there was oil in the coolant. Too it to the dealership and they said the oil cooler failed, heater core went out, and there’s a leak in my radiator. They have to fix all three of those issues before they can test my engine to see if there was any damage done to it. The man at the dealership told me they have the same year model currently in their shop that had came in with the same 3 issues, and when they tested their engine, something ended up being warped and it needs a whole new engine… that car has been in their shop for a month now… I’m hoping and praying mine doesn’t need the engine replaced. The jeep dealership doesn’t currently have any rentals available, and my warranty only covers rentals through the Jeep dealership, so I’m paying out of pocket for a rental and I’m already out $700 to have a rental for 2 weeks. It’s been a week already and they haven’t even started the actual repairs yet!
Has anyone else had this issue? I have a 2019 Jeep compass and the only issue is that when I went for a warrant they said the lights come on but one is delayed, that was in “manual mode” then same thing in “Auto mode” one light takes an extra few seconds before coming on. Same with high beam. So failed warrant. The thing is, at night all lights come on immediatley in all modes??I took it too Jeep dealer for diagnostic and apparently, there is a control module inside each headlight that controls the lights. They said looks like control module faulty, and have to replace both headlights!! So ridiculous, seeing I use auto at night and they come on fine! Day time running LED lights also work fine. I never use manual lights mode either. This will be mega money, as have to import the headlights from USA!
